Who we are

MitiMed is a pharmacy management software service operated by Mitisol Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this policy “we” means Mitisol Limited.

Two kinds of data

Account data: the name, email, phone and sign-in details of people who use MitiMed. Mitisol Limited is responsible for this data.

Pharmacy data: products, stock, sales, customers, prescriptions and staff records that a pharmacy enters. The pharmacy decides what is entered and why; we store and process it on the pharmacy’s behalf to provide the service.

What we use data for

To provide and secure the service, verify subscription payments, send service emails (for example sign-up confirmation, password reset and staff invitations), provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Separation between pharmacies

Each pharmacy’s data is isolated at the database level. Staff see only what their role and branch allow. MitiMed support staff can open a pharmacy’s data only when the pharmacy owner grants time-limited access, and that access is logged.

Prescriptions and health information

Prescription images and details are stored as private files. They are opened only by authorised pharmacy staff through a logged, short-lived link and are never public.

AI features

When a pharmacy uses AI features, only the data needed for the request is sent to the AI provider from our servers. AI output is advisory and is never used to make clinical decisions automatically. See the AI Safety page.

Online store shoppers

When you order from a pharmacy’s MitiMed store, your name, phone, address and any prescription you upload go to that pharmacy to fulfil your order.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the pharmacy’s account is active. Retention periods after closure: [To be confirmed by Mitisol Limited]. Audit records are kept for security and accountability.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your account data by contacting us. For pharmacy records about you (for example as a customer), contact that pharmacy first.
