Sell quickly at the counter
Cashiers find medicines by scanning a barcode with a USB scanner or phone camera, or by typing part of the brand or generic name.
- Pack-aware selling: box, strip or single tablet from the same stock
- Automatic first-expiry-first-out batch selection
- Expired, quarantined and too-short-dated batches cannot be sold
- Only roles with discount permission can give a discount
Take payment the local way
Record cash, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, card or bank transfer for each sale. Unpaid balances can go on a registered customer's account up to their credit limit.

Returns that restock correctly
Returns are linked to the original sale. Returned quantities go back to the batch they came from, and refunds are capped at what the customer actually paid.
Receipts customers can keep
Print a receipt on a thermal or A4 printer, or share a secure read-only receipt link. A receipt is a record of sale; it is not automatically a VAT invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need special hardware?
No. The POS runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. A USB barcode scanner and receipt printer are optional; the phone camera can also scan barcodes.
Can a cashier give any discount they like?
No. Only staff whose role includes discount permission can give a discount, so owners decide who may give one.
What happens if the internet is slow?
MitiMed is an online system and needs a connection to save a sale. Pages are kept light so they work on ordinary mobile data.
